For some of these hours - 8am to 8:30am, midday to 1pm, 6pm to 6:30pm, and on Thursday from midday to 6:30pm - the phone lines are diverted to an ICB-approved subcontracting service who provide an equivalent service to that offered by the practice. If you require medical attention during these hours, please call 0114 234 3418. The GP Out-of-Hours service will take your call. Alternatively, call 111 or attend the NHS Walk-In Centre on Broad Lane. If you have a medical emergency, call 999.

If you would find it more convenient, or when we are busy, we can offer you an appointment at one of our Hub practices. These are staffed by other local GPs. Our local Hub is at Fairlawns Practice and offers appointments from 18:00-21:30 in the week and 10:00-17:30 on Saturday and Sunday. These appointments are also available over bank holidays and festive periods. Other Hubs are available though out the city, located at The Health Care Surgery, Sloan Medical Centre, Woodhouse Health Centre, the Flowers Health centre and Burncross Surgery.
